Since April 2022, Schutte Bagclosures from Uden has been running on the Oracle NetSuite Cloud ERP system. After gaining knowledge and experience with NetSuite, the locations in France and Italy were also onboarded to NetSuite in April and May. Schutte worked hard to make this possible – in collaboration with FoodQloud. This significant milestone was achieved through the joint efforts of both parties.

France and Italy on NetSuite
Schutte’s drive for innovation is evident from the recent steps that were taken with NetSuite. After the go-live with NetSuite in the Netherlands in 2022, France and Italy are now also integrated into the ERP system. This process involved a lot of work in terms of configuration and implementation, as well as policy adjustments and training of on-site employees. An Schönfeld, a dedicated member of the Schutte team for over 16 years, played a crucial role in this. An made a significant contribution to this project, ranging from preliminary analysis, data migration, writing work instructions, training various colleagues, and resolving issues.

NetSuite as a Strong Plug-and-Play Cloud Solution
Schutte’s office in the USA also runs on NetSuite. Before going live in June 2023, a new sales organization was set up, with processes accounted for in NetSuite. Because the blueprint of the process was well developed, partly due to the experience gained in the Netherlands, NetSuite could be rolled out relatively easily for the USA. This aspect is also evident in the go-live of France and Italy. With minimal adjustments based on local policies, we were able to achieve the go-live in a short turnaround time. Robbert Polman, controller and project leader at Schutte: “NetSuite is a strong plug-and-play Cloud solution if you have a good blueprint.” While NetSuite’s capabilities are impressive, Robbert emphasizes the importance of the people involved.
